From our doorstep you are just minutes away from one of Alaska's finest museums and the Sitka National Historic Park, with its gentle trails, authentic totem poles and Alaska Native artisans. Wander towards town and you'll pass one of Sitka's five harbors, home to a fleet of seiners, trollers and crabbers, as well as, pleasure and charter boats.
Continue on your stroll, past the Russian Bishops House, to the town's charming downtown business district. Here you will discover restaurants offering wild Alaska seafood(the only kind you should eat!) and locally owned businesses featuring clothing, art, camping gear and unique Alaskan treasures. You will also see St. Michaels Cathedral, the spiritual "center" of downtown Sitka. All of this is a leisurely 10 minute walk from ANNAHOOTZ Bed & Breakfast.
